    Default obdII codes:. need help troubleshooting

    alright so i got my car running but its throwing some codes..

    - P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
    why would it have a high voltage signal

    - P1337 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor No Signal
    && wtf is that ..

    HELP plz!..

    this is my first time wireing up a obd2 car..
    .

    but i looked up the p1337 code and its the crank sensor thing..
    AND I DONT EVEN HAVE THE FLUCKER HOOKED UP..

    P0108 odds are u have the wrong plug hooked up to it or its blown.

    do this and your problem should be solved

    ok ive wired up that Fluctuation Sensor thing and still nothing.
    still in like limp mode

    You need to do the cfk trick. If it is not an "obd2 motor us". Or you buy an obd2 oil pump w/ sensors and do work.

    whats the trick.. wireing it through the dizzy.

    and update i pulled the VC off the and the head is filled with water... its all milky and shit
    but the car doesnt smoke..

    and it gets up to half way pretty quick.. but it doesnt get hot..

    Lol.... did you route your coolant hose to the top of your valve cover?? jk. Sounds like a headgasket issue. Most of the time if the oil is mixing with the water it blew towards the oil passage side not the combustion side, so yea you may not be smoking. Is it skipping??

    You prolly got the map sensor plug mixed up with the TPS.

    lol. ummmm.
    juss sayin bc i had a blown headgasket on my DA before and it would smoke pretty bad..
    but id did figured it would be the head gasket.
    and naw its not.

    Have you have the motor apart? Or did you get it this way?

    Sounds like hg to me also. But there is a possibility of what QWK D16 said. Not as common on Honda engines but it does happen. May need to remove the head and see what you have.

    even if it is the headgasket, it suppose to be a GOOD running motor right? a bad headgasket doesn't make it good.

    glad he never got back to me about trading.
