    Default door wont open

    ight so i got a 98 civic sedan and the back passenger door out side handle dont work and the child lock is on so i cant open it from the inside any ideas how to get that open thanks in advance

    i would get the local locksmith to help out...i think its like $50 but without spending any money i dont know but good luck with it

    use a jimmy? or break the door handle off, and move that rod yourself

    take the door panel off and move the child safty switch off cuz locksmiths wont work seeing as the rear doors dont have key slots....

    the only thing is i cant pop the door panel with the door closed

    yea breakin the door handle mite be the route to take lol

    same thing happen to me. luckily the outside door handle was already off so I just pushed the lever up and the door came right open.

    so i just got it open i had to use a flathead and pull the handle out a little from the outside and pushed the inside lever with a screwdriver and it opened
