    Default Help! Limp Mode?

I have an EG hatch with an OBD1 H23A bluetop in it. The car wasn't running right a couple weeks ago because the Speed Sensor fell out so I got it put back in there and it was running great for a few hours. While I was driving the car just kinda died. Now I can't rev past 2k rpms in neutral or while im in gear. Whenever it goes past 2k rpms it dies until I put it in neutral and tap the gas. The check engine light doesn't come on but when I try and read for the code the light stays on. Anyone had this problem or have an idea of what could be wrong?

Its datalogged...take it to scotty and he will tell you exactly whats up.

Sucks to hear my baby is down. If the ECU is bad, then that stuff just happens....Find a new p28...have scotty socket it, and slap the chip in it.

Did you try the extra chip that was in the car when i sold it to you??...it was just a regular basemap...see if that makes a difference

sounds like the ecu is in safe mode. I had that happen on my old chipped p28 ecu. You may have a bad chip in the ecu or maybe even a bad ecu all together. See if you can find another ecu to try and see if it clears things up.
