Default Gear oil in muh cloths?!

Ok so about a month ago I got some gear oil in one of my favorite shirts. It didn't stain or anything, but I cant get the smell of gear oil out of my shirt. Anybody that has ever been around the stuff knows its one of the nastiest smells ever. Does anybody know how to get the smell of that shit out of cloths? reps given

Thats why you wear a hair net when you work on cars.

Try Gojo hand cleaner for real. It will help. If the Gojo doesnt help try soaking in dawn dishwashing detergent then rinse so you dont make your washing machine look like it has rabies, lol, then wash it. I dont know how it happened, but I found it is best to go shirtless and save your fav shirt. Good luck.

Exactly what I do. Take some Gojo and rub it into the stain and let it sit for about 10 mins and then wash in hot water. Its taken grease stains out for me that have been there for some time.

Exactly why I DO NOT work on cars in my good clothes. Always, let me repeat, always have back-up work clothes on deck. I keep a pair in my car, at work, etc.

try soaking the shirt in baby oil and some rit dye (just enough to hide the stain)...... the baby oil will effectively stain the whole shirt and hide the gear oil stain... plus it will make it not stink like shit anymore.

the trick with the dye is to put just a little in the baby oil so that the baby oil and dye will brink the rest of the shirt to the shade of the oil stain......

my gma was a pro and had all types of dyes and shit in her wash room

I think that you'll just have to retire the shirt.

Sorry man, i'm REAL like that. lol.

Gear oil is one of the weirdest smelling fluids EVER!
