just bought my wife a 3G eclipse GS

well the last thing i am going to say is, i like 3g's because they are an all-around good car, great interior, all sorts of features, solid and sturdy feel, and decent performance.

I didnt want to get a 2g, or any other dsm, or some older car (240s/galants/sentras, etc....) because when i am driving 99.9999% of the time i am not racing. Therefore i wanted a car with good all-around feel to it. sorry if thats not what you like, that is your own opinion. Just stop ragging on the 3g's for being slow, obviously if you buy a 3g you didnt buy it with intentions of it being a speed demon.

But honestly, if you want to talk about a fun car to drive daily. A bone stock se-r is extremely fun. It is a peppy car that handles a lot better then a 3g.

ok that is fine, i bet it is fun to drive. I am just saying for what i was looking to get out of my car, the 3G satisfied my wants... ( you probly gonna come back with something along the lines of "well i guess you didnt have high expectations")
