ok just to clairify, I have a few HP mods, intake, upper and lower stiffened motor mounts, front and rear stiffened tranny mounts, headers, dual cat-back exhaust, pulleys. i know these dont equal up a great horsepower increase, but it is an increase.

family comes first, that's mostly why my car is in the state that it is.

you guys talk like an eclipse is a high dollar car. got news for ya, WRONG! I could understand if i was talking porche owners or something. or hell even lexus IS300 owners(yes, you dont' have to get started on that car). the cavalier is chevy's answer the honda civic, A FRECKIN CIVIC. Mistu just put in a little more horsepower in the eclipse to make it better than the civic. so yea, eclipse is mitsu's civic.

Did you just compare an eclipse to a civic?!?! What is wrong with you...did you know the when DSMs came out they could beat the same year vettes up to about 60mph? Does that make the vette chevy's answer to a civis as well? Civic was made as a cheap fuel economic car, the eclipse is a sports coupe. So you have an intake, headers, and a dual exhuast cat-back?? Now a) if your gonna do an exhuast then do the whole thing, it's a bottle neck theory, cat-back alone won't do shit and b) Why the fuck do you need dual exhuast on your 4banger? think your pushin out that much air that you need 2 pipes? You could have used the money spent on the dual cat-back, for ONE FULL exhuast system...or maybe for the family you talk so much about.

if i would have done the research, i would bought a turbo or sc car. I bought my car because, at the time I bought the first cavi I owned,I was in need of a car, it was cheap, well taken care of, and was clean. but it was a base model. so in feb. I came across a Z24, manual,same year as the base, for dirt. so I bought it 'cause it was easier than an engine,tranny swap on the base.

Well it's not well taken care of anymore.
