emissions help

So i bought a 90' Ef a week from today, previous owner told me it would pass emissions, i meet up with him, end up buying the car even though it smoked pretty bad (D16z6 @11psi) any way i take the car to get the emissions done yesterday, and it failed. I have never owned a car where i had to mess with any emissions problems so i am absolutly lost on this subject. Im asking for any advice, shop names, technician names, etc. Please help me out with this, as i do love the car and want everything to be legal on it.

Here is why it failed:
25/25 test
HC ppm Reading: 220 Allowed: 153
NOx ppm Reading:2727 Allowed: 1123
50/15 test
HC ppm Reading: 231 Allowed: 159
CO% Reading: 1.20 Allowed: 0.89
NOx ppm Reading: 2622 Allowed: 1242

do u have a cat? if so is the cat fully functioning? are your o2 sensors working? are u running lean? whats your timing looking like? what spark plugs u running? are u overheating at all? got any vac leaks? what kinda fuel do u use? burning any oil?

Cat will be installed, not sure on o2 sensors, i need to get the car on a dyno and have it retuned, and yes it smokes because its burning oil, it could be a bad turbo im not sure, any one know of any good places to have it tuned for the low?

the smoking is prob from the turbo not good, make sure the oildrain angle is correct. also did the inspector give you a clue like you need a cat converter? or plugs?

try a cat converter and plugs, i used pass emissions stuff it lowered my numbers a good bit but not enough to pass it .it might work for you.today im gonna give denatured alcohol a try hopefully that works. good luck to ya.

Theres pretty much NO chance of that car passing emissions man. The charcoal can has been removed, there were no o2s on the car when i sold it aside from the wideband, no cat converters, wrong heat range plugs etc in addition to it consuming oil. Hell the gas can vent is open lol. Furthermore that car is still probably running a VAFC hack meaning its a ticking timebomb @ 11psi. Infact i would wager to say if someone has turned it to 11psi its probably detonated the ringlands and thats why its smoking so bad. It does have a chipped p28 in it, your best bet is to have it taken somewhere and properly tuned for that boost level.
