i was putting in my new suspension in my 93 accord and i went and got the ds front strut out and when i got it out the cv axle joint came apart inside the boot and now it wont bend back in far enough to put it all back together. How can i realign it?

open the boot so u can see whats going on inside. then put a lil more bearing grease in there. get a axle boot clamp and strap it back down.

if its come apart inside the boot it usually means time for a new axle. Not exactly a driveway job, unless you got the specialty tool to put the metal bands back on the rubber boots..might as well replace both since you will be dropping the whole suspension anyways.

Autozone FTW....2 new OE replacement axles..../your problems

not really a brand new axle will do the same thing if pulled. the tool is like $10-15 the clamp $2.
