honda makes rubber plugs just for that.. or you can make a plate and weld that bit. && if you gap a space that big with bondo it will crack..

yea then, just tack up the holes grind them down with a grinder & then top it off and make it smooth w/ some metal glaze and bondo.

Tack a piece of metal to the back (either weld, JB weld, or gorilla snot if really desperate) then use body filler on the front. Household electrical box punch-outs work great.

...or cover the hole with adhesive mesh or aluminum tape then smooth over with body filler. There's a million different ways but few are willing to invest the time and money to do it right so whatever works lol.

Well, the way I did mines is a buddy welded the holes up and then we bondoed over it. And if you use bondo, be sure to use the one that can take flexing. The one i had was, I think, Everglaze with fiberglass resin? I'll check for you tomorrow.

unless you understand the welding process, which i thought being in the automotive field as a hobby meant you automatically had a firm grasp on the concept(whether you can do it yourself or not), then you should enlist the help of a friend who does understand.

pop rivets for the ultimate fucking win...... your prolly not building a 10k car so why the fuck are going to do body work on your engine bay..... i mean..... dont get me worng but if you dont have a real good idea about whats all involved your tuck might turn out to be giant fail....... keep it simple and it will turn out great...

to do it right you need to grind em.... weld em...grind em... wipe em... sand em... prime em.... paint. in that exact order
