My bro has a 87 Conquest and he just did a Blitz SS BOV install. The BOV isn't opening and we have tried everything we can think of. Can anyone help ???

where do you have the vac line from teh bov hooked up to?

on the intake manifold along the side there are 3 vacuum nipples... plug it into any one of those and it should work...

It is red and its on the 3 nipple vacume like most say to use. Is it possible the spring in the BOV is to hard ? We pushed on it with a socket and it was really hard to push in.....

I dont know much about a Blitz SS bov specifically, but in general, there is either an adjustment nut on top of the bov to reduce the spring tension, or you just open it up and find a softer spring to insert.

If youre positive that the vac lines are hooked up properly, then chances are the problem is in the spring tension.

There arent too many things that can go wrong with bov's
