Im one of the six h22 motors scottie has tunned in the last month and it put down 231-171 and i just checked my gas mileage 34.5 miles to the gallon. Ill be glad to give you the numbers the hatch started with and finished and how many miles i went for proff if anybody wants it. In my opion h22 is defenently the way to go for all motor its just cheap horse power to me but like it has already been stated it takes a little more to do the swap its not as easy as a bolt in plug up process like b series. as for frm sleeves wearing out come on ive got ten blocks at the shop with over 200,00 miles that are perfect and they actualy run cooler and less friction the only down fall is you cant run forged pistons in them. If your going all motor you can buy some type s pistons shave the head a little and get all the compression you want with out even having to buy high compression pistons. With a h23 crank and type s pistons the piston sticks out the block twenty thousand already so no need for high compression pistons unless your building a all out drag motor. All the obd1 blocks are closed deck blocks actualy great for boost but stock h22 pistons have weak ring glands so you have to run another piston for boost which means you have to sleeve the block and thats why alot off people prefer b series over h series because they come with steal sleeves but they have a moly piston now thats great for boost that works in the frm stock sleeves of a h22 . There are plenty of people making weal over 500 horse power with a stock h22 block with just pistons and rods. I went through all this b series h series with all my friends 8 years ago and one put a supper chargered gsr in a hatch the other put a turboed b16 in a hatch and i put a stock h22 in a hatch they all 3 run mid 13s and i had half the money in mine with no power adder hope this helps.

252plus hp and 34.5 miles to the gallon all motor. 12.2 at 111
