    Default brake light stay on

    so i notice my rear tail light stay on even if i take the key out.

    The light that stay on is the brake light.

    ???is there a relay switch for a rear brake light???

    it 95 civic

    Pull up on your pedal and see if that will fix it.

    There is a brake light switch sensor on the brake pedal. It could be bad or the rubber grommet it pushed on could have broken or fell out of the hole on the pedal.
