    Default Question about Intakes

i went to a shop tody and i was checkin out some intakes. and i was thinking about buying all the parts and making my own. i talked to the dude there and he showed me all the tubing and adapters and filters that would fit toghether to make one. but i noticed the only difference between the AEM intake that was already made and the one i was gonna make was that the AEM had a little tube coming out the side that goes into the intake sensor. and please dont tell me just to buy the already made one cuz thats what imma probably do anyway. but i was just curious what to do about that intake sensor stuff. thnx

    ghetto rig it.

Remove the bottom half of the airbox and zip-tie the filter into the remaining upper portion. I did this to my car, my moms cars and most of my friends cars when I was 16.
