Help:need insurance advices
Story: over a month ago, i got into an car accident (im not at fault) and got report blah blah everythings done with and the insurance company sent someone and did an estimate on my car. now im waiting for a check but they said i need a body shop name in order to issue me one. well im not trying to fix it yet.. how can i get this check bc i need cash.

just call them back and tell them that you'll fix it youself.. and for the estimator. Did you bring it to one of their preferred shops to estimate or did they personally come to your house ?? But this isn't a problem, If you are going to fix it yourself. tell them to issue you the check and you will be taking care of watever it is to be fixed.
