No you dont have to take all the lines off to clean, mainly just the condensor which is next to the radiator and the evaporator which is under the dash and also to clean take the battery out and the tray and the mount bracket and you will see where the lines go into the evap . Take those lines lose and remove and clean the same way as i stated into each of those items until no more black nasty stuff lol...
