    Default got a new 240 today need some help

    just got me a piggy(89) and for some reason the blinkers do not work in the front.. both sides they work in the ass end but not fron... not even the hazards is there any way to fix that with out taking it to a shop... also how would i get the clutch to grab at peddal mid ranger. right now it lets up as soon as you take any pressure off the peddal... any help would be greatly appreciated thnxs guys

    cable clutches can be adjusted yes, but its a 89. I'm pretty sure its worn out unsless someone has changed it recently. You can try and adj. it down by the clutch fork...

    it was swapped from auto so it prob not to old... cant say though i just picked it up today

    hate to say it but im kinda a noob... is that under the dash by the pedel itself?

    is this year model even cable operated ? i know very little about 240's

    I honestly d/n but im sure they did not have hydraulic clutches in 89 lol... i believe it is... my 90 da was cable clutch so i would assume that a car a year younger from the same country would as well

    ok so i changed the bulbs checked fuses... nothing how could the rear work and not the front?????????? im doumbfounded

    Open, shorts, or high resistance. I'd say it's something to do with that. Have you check available voltage or anything like that?

    have not.. no volt meter... but thanks for the advice ill see if i know any one who has one i can barrow

    problem sovled... well the turn signal problem... thanks every one for your helpful advice.... not i just need to adjust the clutch

    chris, the clutch is super easy to adjust. its the adjustable rod that is on the clutch pedal going into the clutch m/c.

    You might want to preemptively buy a new slave cylinder in case the parts store runs out of them.
