    Default tire ?

    so i just bought the bike and in a month put almost 2000 miles on it so it needs a new front tire bad.whats a good priced but safe tire. i see the shinko tires but not sure.if anyone has a good place for tire buys or recmmendations.

    it will greatly depend on what kind of riding you do and what kind of life you want out of your tire. it will always be a tradeoff.
    if you just commute, then the shinko or something like it will probably be fine. but if you plan on doing any kind of performance riding then I would go for something like a michelin pilot power.

    There are tons and tons of different types of tires. If cost is a concern, then you should choose a price range and then see what tires are available.

    You'll find as many opinions on brands as types of tires. I've used Avon, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Metzler... I would budget for ~$100 or less for a front tire.
