honestly your prolly ok with changing the gasket if it just blew....

now if youve been driving it and runnin around town. overheating it over and over again. thats a different story.

once i was driving through new jersey and my thermostat stuck. it overheated so bad the car cut off.....

the damn radiator popped on the side of the road when i pulled over...... i thought my shit was pushed in 10 hours from home. lol. well i changed the radiator. and kept the water full. never overheated but my hg was deffinately blown.

i replaced the gasket and never had a problem again.

its up to you. a machinist can check your head in minutes and tell you if its warped.
