    to shave the block you would have to remove it from the car and tear it down to bare block... then have it put together... and while you have it torn down might as well have the crank looked at and balanced... have new bearings sized and put in. while you have everything out. but then again while you have all that done.. .might as well order some high or low compression pistons for boost or NA... and some rods. i heard eagle rods are nice cheap and reliable..... lol and then might as well get some ARP head studs for 100 or so... and a quality aftermarket head gasket for that boost or NA motor you just built.. then there is a whole other thread for head work... lol

    so than im better of getting a new head, and block right?

    pretty much if most people if they warp the block they just replace the longblock. unless there have a really good reason for a complete rebuild.

    yea just get a new long block, and swap it in. i think that would b much easier
