when bearings go bad
94 Honda Civic EX d16z6
i did a stupid thing...bought a new car and didn't keep an eye on oil levels.
ask around and a few mechanics tell me from my description of the sounds it's making that my bearings may have rolled.
from your experience or friends of friends experience...is my crankshaft able to be saved if i stopped running the car as soon as the noice presented itself?
will i have to get it machined? or can i just get new bearings put on and be safe? just want to know wut kind of money i need to start saving...like whether i have no choice to buy a new engine/car or make this fix and keep moving on with my life...
if post doesn't make enough sense...let me know what info u need and i'll post wut i can
