Does anyone know where a 100 octane gas station is in georgia. I live in forsyth so within an hour would be good. Im getting my car tuned and want to see a dyno pull with 100 octane.

What up, what up? Nothing much going on here. I've just been chillin' at the crib lately.Originally Posted by d993s

Well, Im going to go check it out today most likely. Ill update and tell you guys if it is open and selling 100 octane.
up in dawsonville just past the outlet mall there is a chevron that sells race fuel.
^^^ are you talking about the chevron off of 5, up in ball ground? because thats where I went and it had 110 octane!!!!
I didnt end up going to the gas station off of 985 because i tried a shell that sold it somewhere near Duluth. They sell 100 octane, but the pumps were broken. So then we took an hour drive up to ball ground to a chevron and they had 110 octane. We only brought a 5 gallon tank but once we saw the number 110 on the pump, we bought 2 other 2 1/2 gallon tanks because it was such a far drive. So now I have 10 gallons of 110 octane fuel for the tune and some track runs!
What was the price of the 110 octane?

There is the Chevron station on the right going northbound on 400 past Hwy 53 (approx 1 mile) they sell Sunoco leaded 110. The Citgo you're talking about in Oakwood just reopened recently but I went by on Friday but the pump that had the 100 octane is still closed. I go to Port City on exit 8 off of I-985 to get VP MS109 (105 octane) which is unleaded. The price off the leaded 110 last time I got it was 7.999 a gallon. I had issues when I ran the Sunoco 110 (I would imagine the tank for the Sunoco doesn't get drained and refilled as often as the pump gas and it isn't oxygenated which I my engine had issues with)which is why I run VP now.

Doesn't the Commerce area always have above 93 available?
the sunoco 110 was $7.99 a gallon.
Shell station in Alpharetta sells race gas. On the corner of Mayfield Rd and Birmingham Highway.
anyone know of any stations closer to atlanta or on the south side?
I went to the Crabapple station today and their pump is broken. Anyone know of another station? supposedly there are a couple in the Hiram area?
to be honest the best way to do race gas is just buy in in the 5 gallon drum because it is fresher.Got to a motorcyle dealer or shop and buy it from them.
I check sluts off my list like a maintnence man
I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.
Damn beat me too it.Originally Posted by ghettosc

there is a gas station on the corner of 400 and 9 aka harmony church road that i know sells 100 or 105 unleaded. there are two pumps away from the pumps that are under cover. but they do have 100+ unleaded and off-road diesel at these two pumps.

That is also known as "the crabapple" shell station. Its the same intersection as Crabapple road and Broadwell road. This is the one I went to yesterday and the race gas pump is broken right now.Originally Posted by eraser4g63

both are sunocos the one on east paulding you can get it at any pump and the one on macland there's a small pump off to the side where you can get it.
iirc i think one is 103 but i could be mistaken.
this sunoco in hiram sells 100 octane and its 8.29/gal I think. Im going tomorrow
Sunoco
3121 Villa Rica Hwy, Dallas, GA - (770) 445-1312
It's the Chevron station North of Hwy 53 and it's LEADED 110 octane. When I went about a month and a half ago it was $7.999 a gallon.

Well, I did go get some 110 Sunoco fuel up in ball park, but I read somewhere that is was leaded. So i didnt chance it. My dad put it in his m3 (running a test pipe, so no harm) and left grey residue instead of black in his tail pipe. I dont know if it would be because of lead in the fuel or not, but im still not chancing it. I went to a race shop off 985 exit 16 i think called port royal (something like that). it was 105 unleaded for $8.50 a gallon. bring your own container and they fill it up for you. If your going north on 985, get off exit 16 (I think) and take a left. take another left at the Advace auto parts, go down the road for about a half mile and take the last left. It will be on the right.
PS. The crabapple gas stations pumps have been down for a few weeks not.

I thought that too, however, you can go online to Sunoco's website (though it's sold at a Chevron station) and the only listing for 110 octane from them is leaded fuel: http://www.sunocoinc.com/site/Consum...ditionalFuels/Originally Posted by DirtyMechanic
the one that is sold at the Chevron is known as "The Standard" and is purple in color.

David, I know which one you're talking about. It's Port South off of Exit 8. I always go there for racing fuel. The other one DirtyMechanic was talking about is the one I'm talking about. After you pass the intersection of Hwy 53 (Dawsonville Hwy) and 400, continue north on 400 and it'll be about a mile ahead on your right hand side.

They can sell leaded fuel from a pump but it cannot be dispensed directly into a street vehicle.Originally Posted by DirtyMechanic

this sucks, there's like a ring about 25 miles is radius around the center of Atlanta without a station that sells race gas.
So far hiram is the closest I've found to Atlanta. Anyone else find one closer?
here's a map I've made.
