You will need to use his stock harness but wire up for Vtec... Also he will need to do the Crank Angle sensor MOD so it will crank/run....Civic's uses a 2 pin plug crank sensor, and GSR/all B series uses a 3 pin crank angle sensor plug/harness..

So you need to do the MOD (google it) it has a nice write up on Honda-tech.com

Also you will need to get OBDI injector harness plugs/clips and wire them in on your stock civic harness. But for the most part convert all obdII items onto the GSR.
