2g 4g63 Eclipse's are a far better platform to work on than Hondas. It's when you get one that has been owned by
someone who hacked it up that it gets troublesome. You gotta remember the newest one is STILL 10 YEARS OLD !!!! And they still look good.
You only have problems when you do mods cheap, or incorrect. My 97 GST Spyder can attest to that. And there's
nothing wrong with the 7bolt motors. So what a few guys had crank walk !?!? Big deal, 100's of thousands of these cars
where made and there's a few hundred with CW. I've owned at least one of every model Eclipse/Talon except the 95 model
year. Never had CW with any of them. I've also had a 99GSX with a 6bolt swap that was nothing but problems.
Get a 420A if that's all you can find. Then get a turbo kit for it. A co-worker has one on his and it does not have crazy hp, but it's decent.

ps: Spyders also had the SOHC 4g64 2.4l. Get one of those and put the 4g63 head on it !!!
