    Default de-stroking an ls

    ls with gsr internals. je pistons eagle rods. boosted. any info out there or anyone familiar with this setup???

    thanks alot guys.

    basically if you have any good ideas or pointers put em out there.

    im wanting a decent amount of boost to go in this motor.

    Wait, you said gsr internals?? But you're going to put JE pistons, and Eagle rods in it..?

    EDIT: ohhh wait, so i take it you're going to order parts from JE and Eagle, but for the GSR block instead of for the LS block?

    man, i've always heard the GSR rods won't fit into a ls.....

    ITS ALL DEPENDS ON WAT CRANK UR USING.. OREDERS UR PISTONS AND RODS ACCORDING TO UR CRANK... BUT IT WILL WORK.....

    Theres really no point in doing it, why give up the extra displacement?

    Now if you were staying stock, the GSR rods are better and can rev higher than the LS rods, but since you are doing forged internals anyway it doesnt matter.

    If you have a good LS crank id use it along with LS Eagle rods and pistons.

    But if you must stay GSR, then use GSR Eagle rods and pistons.

    i have gsr crank forged eagle rods (gsr) forged je pistons (gsr)
