    Default 93 mustang (noob question)

    i have a 93 mustang lx...will a 91 5.0 gt (302) be a prefect drop in??? what will i need?? any customize??? i am very new to ford mustang...so be dont trash this...thank you

    what are you doing a 4 cyl to 5.0 conversion? if so i have done it before. and no yes the motor will drop in but there us much more to it then just droping it in.

    yea a 4 to the 5.0 v8...i know i'll have to change the tranny...will i have to change the back end too...will the the v8 fit into the engine bay without any cutting or customize mounts???

    i have done it before. its best if you have a 5.0 doner car off the top of my head here is what you will need to change,
    engine and all accessories
    radiator
    trans and crossmember, driveshaft
    rearend and the brake line runing to the rear end
    fuel lines from the tank to the engine
    brakes and booster 4cyl brakes wont cut it!
    ecu, firewall harness, and engine harness
    the 91 firewall harness will NOT work on your 93 you will need to find a later 92 0r a 93 firewall harness

    also is it a coupe trunk model or a hatch back? if you decide not to do it i might be intrested in buying it!

    wow that basically everything then uhh...i quess a doner would be better then...its not like a honda or an acura at all...well im up for the challenge...thanks...how was the car after the swap??? how is now??? did you have a doner??

    its a white coupe with 90k miles, its pretty clean outside and inside...2500 obo

    yes i had a doner 91 gt. ran great I later sold it. i also 5 luged it. also auto to 5 speed swap ill be honest this is not a swap for a novice if you have only done simple honda swaps i doubt you will be able to pull it off in a timely manner. its not a weekswap! here is a pic of mine below.

    wont plan on doing swap anytime soon...trying to expand my knowledge of mustang...lol
