he is properly just as much of a noob as u and has his terms mixed up.
Oh ok so you don't have to take off the converter when straight piping car?
Ok now I'm confused. Someone please tell me how you straight pipe a car. What is the difference?Originally Posted by simontibbett
straight-pipe = NO muffler and NO catalytic converter... lol simple.
EDIT: Its called "straight pipe" for a reason, because there is nothing but Straight PIPE from the engine out to the back or side of the car, wherever it'll exit.
Oh ok simple enough. Either the guy was lying or he didin't know what he was talking about.
Thanks
Probably both.Originally Posted by my_sick_si

lol probably. I'll ask him again. Meeting him at the varsity tomorrow
or you could just, oh i don't know, look at the car and answer the question for yourself.
Who knows?
I'll try but the car is pretty low and I don't know if I can see it or not
don't be a girl and get a lil dirty before you purchase a vehicle. Lay on the ground behind the car and look at the exhaust. And while your at it, call a mechanic, or someone that is more mechanically inclined than you to look at the car.![]()
