i only suggested the aforementioned, because when mine clicked my battery was fine....and i had the same symptoms.

after you check battery, check wires that runs to the starter, if those are good then you might have a bad starter=replace it, or tap it(not beat, that sounds so brutal lol) with a hammer for a temporary fix. As i said before worked for me when i had the same problem..might work for you.
i gotcha man, you just have to be careful because of how literal people can take your post. they may or may not know to check the battery first, so they just go out there and wail on the starter until something happens! then they need a battery AND a starter! i wasn't trying to be overly harsh, you just have to start from the beginning.
