    Default h22 into 6gen civic

i know this is not a cheap swap. Im thinking about going h22 into my 96 civic coupe. Planning on running h2b maybe cause i have an itr tranny. What would be better though, the tranny from the h22 or my itr tranny. If i get the kit i know i would be able to use my b serious mounts, and axles, but what about the bay. Would i have to do any cut/welding. How much would i be looking at with this

u will basically be turning your car into a track car going h2b. I love my H tranny cuz i still get great gas mileage, my hood fits better, and i still have the option for A/C.

If you already have the B series stuff i say h2b just to save some cash. They are definately fun with the shorter gears.

H2B conversion has dropped in price since I last looked, and there are more options.

Here's a link that may answer a few of your questions.

ive done three of the evolution h2b swaps and absolutely love it...no problems with it...and i ran the itr tranny and didnt get horrible gas milege....the only cutting i had to do was notch the bottom of the block out to clear the driver side cv axle which wasnt bad because the send you a templet on exactly what to cut. if you go this way and need any help just hit me up!
