I know what you're talking about though since my parent's house has a hill'ish type drive way and everytime she parks and then tries to leave and put it in drive is makes a 'clunk' noise and is sometimes hard to get out of park.
That's because she is either NOT using her parking brake or it needs to be adjusted BAD. You are putting all of the weight of the car plus what's in it on the transmission
