the combustion chamber will be smaller than the bore, however it won't hurt anything. just get a headgasket that is the correct bore size and you will be good to go. are you planning on having the block sleeved to go to the 84mm bore?
    Who knows?

well, if it's gonna be all-motor it isn't AS necessary, but for any boost I wouldn't dare run a B20 without sleeving it.

the "dents" in the piston are called valve reliefs, they are there to keep the valves from hitting the piston during the exhaust and intake strokes. they will still be in the correct position most likely, however on any engine build where you are concerned with valve to piston clearance i suggest claying the motor and measuring to be certain.
    Who knows?
