my suspension on my 05

k does anyone else have an 05 sti? if so..how is ur suspension holding up? i actually got my 05 in may of 04..and now it sounds liek my struts are blown.....i hear alot of noise coming from the back when i drive...like clanking.im gettin ner suspension anyways...but worried the same shtii will happen

push down on your car, if it bounces more than 1 or 2 times, your struts are blown. If not, its something else.

yeah we put some ground control coilovers on our 05 wit stock strut n they all blown after 6 month and we had an alignment on it 2 so we swaped it wit some tein type flex wit the EDFC n now it feel way better, really smooth ride i recommend it

Your struts will be fine if you use springs with a *reasonable* drop. Ive gone almost 40k miles on lowering springs with stock struts. But you cant drop it 4 inches and expect the struts to be ok.

nah i just got my new wheels put on and i dont want the car slammed. i just want like a good inch..maybe 2. i want new suspension....but nothing with alot of body roll.
