    Default Suspension question

    i own a 97 prelude
is it possible to put a full coilver kit suspension thats made for a 92-96 prelude.

they mount up the exact same way. is the spring rate different??

what are gonna be the pros and cons? possibly a crappy ride? but difference in weight between the 2 cars is like 100 pounds or so.

Way to butcher the thread title Mark lol.

I think it will work. Being coilovers and adjustable, I think you can get away with it since they mount the same on the car. Cant tell you for sure, but I dont see why it wouldnt work.

If you want a GOOD quality ride, you need to spend the big bucks on coil overs. My old 98 civic (many years ago) had coil overs on it with KYB struts...it handled great but sucked for ride quality.

like full coilovers or coilover sleeves??

coilover sleeves shouldnt matter - those will ride like dick no matter what you do.

full coilovers - spring rates could be different, as well as a lot of other things.
