might have to see if you can hook up with one that works at the stealership and see if they will do side work

From the looks of it, it seems as if the engine needs to be pulled out. So the labor look ridiculous. I havent called a Yammi dealer yet but I'd rather the employee get all the benefits.

If it doesn't work out with Tech5, and you don't mind driving, call up Blue Ridge Yamaha and speak directly to Paul, tell him I sent you and he will treat you right.

FUK THAT! I attempted to ride it and said "eh eh" so I was like, i'll walk it up...got half way and just could barely reach before I made an attempt to step up. So..I dunno. Got to man up and figure it out one of these days.

You dont' have to yank an engine to check the valve clearances, but you do have to take top of the head off.

Most of the time, they don't need adjusting if you've just been putting around on the street, and any competent mechanic will be able to check them rather easily. You don't need to be certified by Yamaha.

Weren't you going on before about how you were a mechanic yourself or something...? I adjusted the valves on my first bike myself after watching a 15 minute video...so it should be a walk in the park for someone who works on vehicles regularly.

Yup. I own a shop. I don't know a lot about bikes and I've heard you need different tools. I'd rather let some1 else do it that has done it before than make an attempt with no prior knowledge and fuck something up.

loading the bike is easy. long as you got a decent ramp. worse that could happen is you run into the back of your cab. park the truck down the hill somewhere and it will take away the high angle on the ramp!
