Default I have an oxidation problem on my trim and cant seem to get it off. Sugestions PLZ?

So I have a 2000 BMW 328ci with oxidation around the chrome window trim and it will not come off. I have tried various stuff and the products have worked a little bit, but the oxidation is still noticely there. Do any of yall know what can get this off? Thanks!!!

    Wouldn't that scratch the chrome?

Then you polish it. I gotta see what piece you're talking about. Is it #13 in chrome?

There is a few things I would try before sanding down the clear or stripping it and polishing the metal. Some sort of rubbing compound (3m etc...) white vinegar (sometimes works for acid rain removal) and... mothers metal polish if there is no clear on it already.
