Emissons pasing concerning a swapped motor

alright so i have a swapped b20 now into my integra. can i still pass emissions. i know he swapped over th intake mani, distributor injectors and i am pretty sure the ls ecu, but will what do i have to worry about.

do you still have catalyst converter? and does that engine have EGR?

u should be able to pass the LS and B20's just about the same, I've had B18C5 motors in integra's and they passed fine....

as long as there is no check engine light and a stock cat you should be fine.

i see no problems it should pass and if they check the motor (i dont) i dont think they would know the difference and as long as you have a cat. which you probaly do you should be good

I just had a thought, when they do emissions on cars, do they not scan the barcode on the block? Wouldn't they scan it if they do and it come up with info for a b20? I'm probably worrying too much, but being my first swap I feel I have too

Dude, you're gonna be fine, every car I've ever had tested was swapped. They're not checking if it is the right engine, engines get replaced all the time, they're just concerned if it passes the test.

If your CEL is NOT on and it's a 96+ newer vehicle and you are equipped with a cat YOU WILL PASS.
