    Default prelude swap questions!

    i have a 93 prelude with a blown dohc f22b. i can seem to find a f22b or a dohc h23 for a resonable price. can i use a sohc non vtec accord motor? will every thing swap over? dizzy mounts,ecu, will i have any issues doing this?

    Yes, they came with the single cam f motor also, most of the stuff will swap over, ecu will work but not as good as it should....

    what do you mean buy not work as good as should? cel? what about mounts sensors? ect? any little stuff i am not thinking about?

    Mounts should all be the same, and bolt right up... The ECU since its for the H23, will run it, but obviously they are different motors/ although similar revving, same sensors etc... So they may not run 100%, but it might....You probably wont throw any cels The only thing you might have to do is extend some wires here or there, and maybe do something about the exhaust bolting up..
