    Default my 2.0 ls bottom gettin bored to a 84.5

    well the place i just ordered all my stuff from just called and said they couldnt get me know 84mm pistons because they wouldnt be ready until tomorrow. and thats when i paid to have everything shipped over night. so i just told him to go ahead and send the 84.5 pistons. the thing im wanting to know is how much will it cost to have the block bored to a 84.5 and would it still be a 2.0. thnaks for any answers

    it will be 1996.426 Cubic Centimeters. I dont think it will cost any extra.

    you will have to have it bored and honed, call your local machine shop and they can give you a price...

    alright just done want them to go bigger than a 84.5. then i be stuck

    i had already paid to have everything over night.so i was kind of stuck i should say.but i was gonna does this if i couldnt get the 84mm pistons anyways

    so it will be overnighted the next day. Your waiting on the pistons not the shipping.

    Sorry, I assumed that you ment costing extra to bore your 1.8 for the 84.5mm pistons instead of 84mm. I didnt catch that it was already a 2.0l.

    I got dem interwebs son! I assumed its a b18b that is already bored, not a full stroker kit. So I just plugged in 89mm.

    You do understand, It will take you longer to get it back from the machine shop than you would have waited for the correct size pistons...
    I'm just that guy that spends all his time printing.... T-shirts, banners, vinyl, etc.

    well the guy he talked to on the phone really didnt give him a chance to say a word.... what he is saying is he already paid to have it over night shipped with 84mm pistons but than guy calls him sayin he dont have them after he said he did. so he just sent 84.5mm pistons instead... that make better since? anywayz did u get your head gasket and oil lines? cant wait to see this bitch run its going to be sick. did u pick which tuner your going to?

    it is usually only $10 to $15 bucks a cylinder to bore n hone a block in my area but you will have to pay 20 to 30 to have it cleaned also you still get out cheap

    or he could have said refund the money for the pistons and shipping an ill get them else where.

    ^^^ yeah big mike i got the oil line and right head gasket this morning.they didnt even take the other one back lol. because they didnt send the new label. but we either gonna go to cft or mainstream scotty does a good job on my car. an omar at cft seemed pretty cool but thats a long ways to frive two different cars.
