    Exclamation ive got a stutter/stumble

    so i bought my 88 323 back in march.
    theres no telling how long the car has been sitting up til' i purchased it.
    as soon as i got home i did a tune up
    plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter but not cap and rotor
    a few says later it started to stutter a little her and there and progressively got worse
    so i pulled the fuel filter out and it was dropping out muddy lake water
    so i replaced it again........and again.........
    and now its stuttering again...
    so i need to just go ahead and but new fuel line from the tank to the injectors?
    or just drop the tank and clean EVERYTHING

    reps givin....not like ill make a difference

    The tank probly has CRUD all in it.. that wouldnt be a bad idea...

    Yeah I definitely would check the tank...gas tanks, if metal, tend to rust if sitting for a good while...also you have changed the gas in the tank right?

    clean the tank really good. an take a air hose to the fuel line and blow all that crap out.

    it could be. smalls it could be anything. your having a fuel issue y not fix that then look for other reasons. fix what u know is wrong then move on.
