    do you really need the screw that goes in the rotor and hold it to the hub?

    The screw is mainly for assembly lines. It helps hold the rotor on snug for others to do their job a little more quickly.

    Like Dodge and GM's use a little circle clip over a few of the studs. It just holds the rotor on so it doesn't fall off.
