    Im looking into getting a second car to drive since the civie is gettin some custom work done to it. Drove the zx and liked it. Any one want to give me their two cents on model yr/type to go with?

    try to stay away from the 1990 if possible

    The '96 isn't as preferred either. It's certainly a good car but that was the last year of production but the first year of OBDII. Makes parts and mods a little more challenging.

    yes stay away from the 90s. 91-95 most ideal. 94+ if u want your seatbelts on the b-pillar. 96 are obd2 and hard to find and supposedly lost 20hp bringing it down to the 280hp for TT models. nobody knows for sure. Are u looking for a TT or n/A? i can pretty much tell u anything about them. i was in the z community for a few years. I suggest for a second car get a decent running N/A.

    you will not want a Twin Turbo for a daily driver....be sure to have some deep pockets.....fun and great cars just take care of it...check out 300zxclub.com!
