How hard is an LS swap into a E39 BMW? :boobies:
you got the space in the engine bay and the transmission tunnel; so a custom driveshaft, motor mounts, exhaust and another thing or two will be the hold-up....
Never done it, but it now days you can LS anything (944, 240s etc...)

It's actually pretty damn easy if you got the cash and it has been done many times. I remember seeing 557i a couple of times. So, basically, the information is out there but you'll need the 10k to get it going.
