    Default need help

    Hey i was wondering if ya could help me by answering some of my questions??
    Well to start off with the first question........if there knocking inside the engine what might the problem be??
    Now the second question......is it difficult to change an oil pump on a ka24de???
    I would appreciate all the help

    1) rod knock? need a valve adjustment?

    if u have knock just put a new motor in it. u can get a ka24de for the low low, u dont want to be driving down the highway and a rod shoots threw ur block

    Ok thnx and has anybody switched an oil pump on a ka24de???

    ive never done it but im sure i could do it lol since u live in cartersville i could take a look at the knocking

    can you tell if the knocking is coming from the top of the motor or the bottom? if its from the top pull the valve cover off and you will see a guide on the timing side.check to see if its is broken..they are bad for that..if it did just pull it out and put the cover back on...and before you replace your oil pump i would check oil pressure
    So I found out today that i own a "Honda Silvia"...
