    Question strut clearance

On my rear struts I noticed I only have maybe 1" to 2" clearance from the rims which are 17" with low profile NEXEN rubber. Do you know of anything I can do to increase that clearance? When I have enough posts I'll post a pic of what Im talking about. Any help would be appreciated
    thanks/later/Bruce

youll be ok its supose to be like that if its the ball joint your seeing, is it like a castle nut if so then youll be fine but if your talking about your actual coilover being cloose to the wheel then thats also fine theres not alot of room in there everything is supposed to be close
