    Default royal purple,dip stick

    has anybody used this oil and is it good does it last long?also are oil dip stick interchangeable between d and b series or will that cause wrong readings
    92 DA9 with a b20 on 8lbs daily

    it's a dip stick it shouldn't really matter. but royal purple is pretty damn good. i use it in my bimmers

    NO the dipsticks are different and show different readings!!!


    one is longer then the other!!!!


    also yes that oil is great but I hear some bad things about the additive in it that cause bearing wear! and scarring of the cam's an crank ...But rumors are just that!

    thank you tech i was afraid of that,also today i hit vtec and it felt weak so i looked at my oil level and it was freaking low so i added some and now it drives normal again.But i rarely hit vtec and i just started driving the,plus it has no leak anywhere what can cause me to burn oil.it took almost 1k to burn a quart or so

    dont worrie about it then, could be valve seals or rings just drive it
