    Default y8 head on y7 block

    i was wondering if i could put my y8 head on my y7 block in my del sol so i can have vtec?

    yeah it would work but u also need another ecu, and wire it up for vtec

    no, its really simple ( 2 wires and a ground )

    i think i could handle that and thats alll i need to do theres no moding the block like on ls vtec

    nope, on my mini me i just sprayed alot of copper and it lasted for years

    its mostly just swaping parts and wiring up vtec, real easy and no block mods

    Its a coating you spray on your headgasket. Helps seal better.

    dseries.org is ur friend I'm doing the same thing when I get some money, ur not going to get much though unless u get an ex tranny, unless u already got one then your good to go....

    Dont waste your time on a mini me in a del sol .... end result wont be worth time or money !!!!!!!!!!!! trrust me i know ... i built one b7/z6 head ... wasnt worth the money i put into it .

    well i got a 96 civic ex that i was drivn but im parking it since i got this del sol cuz ima drop a gsr in it so ima pull the y8 head off it and clean it up and put crower cam in it and new valves and all that and put it on the del sol and i also got a d series si tranny with a stage 2 clutch and 7.5 pound flywheel ima drop in it then ima put my garrett t3 in it with my chiped and tuned p28 for a d16 with hondata them ill b done....lol not tryn to get a whole lot of power out of it jus want it to a oil bit quick i jus need to make use of all these damn d series parts i have

    IF not let me know I'll buy them lol. Sounds like the d is going to be faster then the gsr swap....
