Default e36 Analog to Digital Climate Control swap

Does the Digital Unit actually look that much better? I actually have all the parts to the swap and im reading it should take me a day, and I really wouldnt mind since I have a lot of the dash taken apart, but Ive never seen anyone with a digital climate control, so i dont know how they look. Ive got no problems with my analog at all. Just want something to somewhat update my ride. Thoughts?

it costs a shit load of money, and the digi has problems, so all in all not worth it.

Actually from what Ive read it can be done in a day. But what type of problems arise out of the digital unit? If it goes out, Ive been seeing them for $40 all day long. Thats not my concern really, plus mine was pulled from a low mileage car. Really looking for info about the functionality and usability, because i can use the day to install something else into my car
