Default Looking for a good tape

I currently have a small heat shield to prevent the exhaust from melting my bumper. Right now it is taped up with 3m paint tape because i do not have anything that would not be melted by the exhaust.

anyways is there a tape that is resistant to moisture, heat, and hold up for a long time until I have time to take it to an exhaust shop to extend my exhaust hangers?

btw this has become a problem recently as I got it back from a repair from getting rear ended. it had no problem not melting the bumper before i got rear ended.

Simply get the hangers extended. 3M makes a couple different tapes that will work but a roll will cost at least TWICE as much as what it will be to get the work done at a muffler shop.

Look up 3M VHB #4949 ($$$) or the 3M #469 High Temperature Tape (really cheap and supposedly effective up to 350 degrees).

I wish I could lower the hanger. It's not about the money. Currently I'm on Skunk2 Springs with Tokico Illuminas and I barely have a finger gap. Right now I barely clear bumps and the little curb in my driveway. I wish it were that simple or else I wouldn't bother with finding the right tape at all.

Most of the del sols I had had a similiar problem with the bumper melting around aftermarket exhausts. I just grabbed a dremel and sanded the opening in the bumper so it was a bit bigger, then touched up the paint around it. You don't have to open it to a gaping hole... Usually shaving off about a quarter inch will do it.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

just cut just enough where the muffler doesn't touch.
