430whp, 1.3g skidpad, 165mph top speed at RA. That's my goals. Already running 1.21g and the suspension is about to get swapped so my goal is easily in reach, the rear end is next to get a 3.6 gear so the top speed will be possible and it heads to Top Speed for a 100 octane tune tomorrow so it can hit the 430 mark. Will be fun driving a 400+whp Miata home from Alpharetta to Macon in 5pm traffic. lol

that is so possible, and it wont take as much.

i remember years ago, a guy ran a 15.5 in a 1st gen protege, with a I/H/E cam gears, cam mod and some vaf tuning. thats a big accomplishment for a NA Bp.. we all know how great they perform NA...lol

Out of my protege, im goin for a car i can drive on the street legally, and take to the track/autoX and have fun. Numbers? who knows..lol i dont even know what motor i want.. im leanin more towards a KL nowadays..

I hit 140 with 185whp so I think it will get pretty damn close. We'll find out next time NASA runs there.

im sure you have seen or heard about the Vaf tuning.. id suggest it, or get a tuned B code vaf out of a NA FC.

id like to see 500hp after the build.

now the fun part would be getting it to the ground in a usable fashion.

Eh, i'm going to see how close to 300rwhp on the 2560 once I get a 3" exhaust made, 190 Walbro, dual-feed fuel rail and a retune. After that comes a 2871...then gutting the intake manifold and building a shortblock.

FM and Begi have 3" exhausts now that aren't too expensive. I'd get the Begi manifold before I gut the stock one. It flows much better than I expected. Allowed Thunder to run 405whp on pump.

I took my Miata to Top Speed last week for a bit of tuning.

    1992 Miata

Dyno'd at 104whp last year with exhaust and intake.
    Dyno'd at 163whp and 149tq last week.

Once we get a few small hiccups worked out of the megasquirt, I will be happy....

You should be around 120-125. Get a proper exhaust and you'll be around 130.

Hmm, that sounds good. Sounds like I'd have the power to hit my goal time. Plan on doing 2.25" exaust with a magnaflow muffler and a performance cat
