    Question b18b oil pump mod

    Just curious.... i am bout to be workin on a B18B bottom end and i am pretty sure that a B18C5 oil pump will fit w/o a problem but i am kind leary bout this if anyone really knows please let me know. thanks

    it should but you cant use the timing cover.

    yes...I always use gsr pumps on ls/vtec's and all obd-2 b-series pumps have the same part number. all you need to watch out for is if you use a obd2 pump on a obd1 block the timing belt cover will not fit without some major triming...

    gsr and itr oil pump samething, it will work.

    from the dealer call them they will tell you it's the same part number.

    he's learning and asking to see if it will fit without any problem, and I just said gsr and itr are the same and it will work. I guess you missed the question..lol But it's koo, haven't been on here for weeks, just been busy moving into a bigger shop.
