    i stay on routine..i change every 2900 miles..no smoke outta exhaust..and what do you mean by knocks?

    EXCESSIVE BEARING CLEARANCE. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS IN UR ENGINE AND ITS TRYING TO COME OUT. THE MORE U REV IT, THE FASTER AND SOMETIMES THE LOUDER THE KNOCK GETS. TRY SOEM SYNTHETIC BLEND OR FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL AND STAY ON SCHEDULE, UR RIDE WILL BE FINE.
